Step Functions activities should be tagged

Description

Flags AWS Step Functions activities that have no user-defined tags. Tags help associate activities with their owning team and consuming state machine; untagged activities are operationally opaque.

Remediation

Apply at least one user-defined tag to every Step Functions activity.

Steps

  1. Open the AWS Step Functions console and choose Activities.
  2. Select the affected activity and choose the Tags tab.
  3. Add at least one tag with a non-aws: prefixed key.
  4. Save the changes.
