Description

This control checks whether direct internet access is disabled for a SageMaker notebook instance.

Remediation

To disable direct internet access, stop, delete, and recreate the notebook instance with the DirectInternetAccess setting disabled.

Steps

  1. Stop the SageMaker notebook instance.
  2. Delete the notebook instance.
  3. Recreate the notebook instance with DirectInternetAccess set to 'Disabled'.
