Description

Confirms that SageMaker endpoint production variants are configured with more than one initial instance to avoid single points of failure.

Remediation

Configure SageMaker endpoint production variants to have an initial instance count greater than 1 for high availability.

Steps

  1. Open the Amazon SageMaker console.
  2. Navigate to 'Endpoints' or 'Endpoint configurations'.
  3. Select the endpoint configuration that needs remediation.
  4. Edit the endpoint configuration.
  5. For each production variant, set the 'Initial instance count' to a value greater than 1.
  6. Save the endpoint configuration.
  7. Update any endpoints using this configuration to apply the changes.
