Description
Checks if Amazon Redshift Serverless namespaces are configured to use a non-default admin username. The control fails if the namespace is using the default admin username.
Remediation
To use a non-default admin username for Redshift Serverless namespaces, follow these steps:
Steps
- Sign in to the AWS Management Console and open the Amazon Redshift console.
- In the navigation pane, choose 'Serverless dashboard'.
- Select the identified namespace that is using the default admin username.
- Choose 'Edit'.
- In the 'Database configuration' section, change the 'Admin username' to a custom value.
- Choose 'Save changes'.
