Redshift cluster snapshots should be tagged
Description
Flags Amazon Redshift cluster snapshots that have no user-defined tags. Tags help associate snapshots with their owning team and retention policy; untagged snapshots are operationally opaque.
Remediation
Apply at least one user-defined tag to every Redshift cluster snapshot.
Steps
- Open the Amazon Redshift console and choose Snapshots.
- Select the affected snapshot and choose Edit tags.
- Add at least one tag with a non-aws: prefixed key.
- Save the changes.
