Verifies that RDS for MariaDB instances publish error logs to CloudWatch Logs.
Remediation
Enable error log publishing to CloudWatch Logs for MariaDB DB instances.
Steps
- Sign in to the AWS Management Console and open the Amazon RDS console.
- Select the MariaDB DB instance and choose 'Modify'.
- In the 'Log Exports' setting, select 'error'.
- Save the changes.
