RDS DB subnet groups should be tagged

Description

Flags Amazon RDS DB subnet groups that have no user-defined tags. Tags help associate subnet groups with their owning network and team; untagged subnet groups are operationally opaque.

Remediation

Apply at least one user-defined tag to every DB subnet group.

Steps

  1. Open the Amazon RDS console and choose Subnet groups.
  2. Select the affected group and choose Edit.
  3. Under Tags, add at least one tag with a non-aws: prefixed key.
  4. Save the changes.
