RDS DB clusters should be tagged

Description

Flags Amazon RDS DB clusters that have no user-defined tags. Tags help associate clusters with their owning team, environment, and cost centre; untagged clusters are operationally opaque.

Remediation

Apply at least one user-defined tag to every RDS DB cluster.

Steps

  1. Open the Amazon RDS console and select the DB cluster.
  2. Choose the Tags tab and select Add.
  3. Add at least one tag with a non-aws: prefixed key.
  4. Save the changes.
