EventBridge event buses should be tagged

Description

Flags Amazon EventBridge event buses that have no user-defined tags. Tags help associate event buses with their owning team and integration; untagged buses are operationally opaque.

Remediation

Apply at least one user-defined tag to every EventBridge event bus.

Steps

  1. Open the Amazon EventBridge console and choose Event buses.
  2. Select the bus and choose Manage tags.
  3. Add at least one tag with a non-aws: prefixed key.
  4. Save the changes.
