Steps

  1. Navigate to the Amazon EMR console
  2. Go to 'Block public access' in the left navigation
  3. Click 'Edit' to modify the configuration
  4. Enable 'Block public access'
  5. Ensure no ports other than port 22 are permitted
  6. Save the configuration to apply block public access
  7. Verify that the setting is active
