EC2 prefix lists should be tagged

Description

Flags EC2 prefix list that have no user-defined tags. Tags help associate prefix lists with their owning team and use case; untagged prefix lists are operationally opaque.

Remediation

Apply at least one user-defined tag to every EC2 prefix list.

Steps

  1. Open the Amazon EC2 console and select the affected EC2 prefix list.
  2. Open the Tags tab and add at least one tag with a non-aws: prefixed key.
  3. Save the changes.
