Description
This control checks whether point-in-time recovery (PITR) is enabled for an Amazon DynamoDB table. Enabling PITR automates backups for DynamoDB tables and helps in quick recovery from accidental delete or write operations.
Remediation
To enable point-in-time recovery for DynamoDB tables, modify the table settings to turn on PITR.
Steps
- Open the DynamoDB console.
- Select the table and navigate to the 'Backups' section.
- Enable 'Point-in-time recovery'.
