Confirms that DocumentDB clusters have deletion protection enabled, preventing accidental or unauthorized deletion.
Remediation
Enable deletion protection for your Amazon DocumentDB cluster to prevent accidental deletion.
Steps
- Open the Amazon DocumentDB console.
- Choose 'Clusters' from the navigation pane.
- Select the cluster you want to modify.
- Choose 'Modify'.
- In the 'Deletion protection' section, select 'Enable deletion protection'.
- Choose 'Continue' and then 'Modify cluster'.
