DMS replication instances should be configured to use multiple Availability Zones

Description

Flags AWS DMS replication instances that are not deployed in a Multi-AZ configuration. Single-AZ replication instances interrupt migrations during AZ-level failures.

Remediation

Modify each replication instance to enable Multi-AZ deployment.

Steps

Open the AWS DMS console and choose Replication instances.
Select the instance and choose Modify.
Set Multi-AZ to Yes.
Apply the change immediately or during the next maintenance window.
