CloudFront distributions should have origin failover configured

Description

Checks whether an Amazon CloudFront distribution is configured with an origin group that has two or more origins for failover.

Remediation

To configure origin failover for a CloudFront distribution, see the Amazon CloudFront Developer Guide.

Steps

  1. Open the Amazon CloudFront console.
  2. Choose the distribution to update.
  3. Navigate to the 'Distribution Settings' and select the 'Origins and Origin Groups' tab.
  4. Create or update an origin group with two or more origins.
  5. Save changes.
