Description

Confirms that CloudFront distributions are configured to return a specific default root object.

Remediation

To configure a default root object for a CloudFront distribution, see the Amazon CloudFront Developer Guide.

Steps

  1. Open the Amazon CloudFront console.
  2. Choose the distribution to update.
  3. Go to the 'Distribution Settings' and select the 'General' tab.
  4. Under 'Default Root Object', enter the file name of the default root object.
  5. Save changes.
