AWS Backup report plans should be tagged

Description

Flags AWS Backup report plans that have no user-defined tags. Tags help associate report plans with the owning team and compliance program; untagged report plans are operationally opaque.

Remediation

Apply at least one user-defined tag to every AWS Backup report plan.

Steps

  1. Open the AWS Backup console and choose Reports, then Report plans.
  2. Select the affected report plan.
  3. Choose Manage tags and add at least one tag with a non-aws: prefixed key.
  4. Save the changes.
