Checks if AWS account has security contact information configured. The control fails if no security contact information is provided for the account.

Remediation

To configure security contact information for your AWS account, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to the AWS Management Console and open the AWS Account console.
  2. In the navigation pane, choose 'Alternate contacts'.
  3. Select 'Security' from the contact types.
  4. Choose 'Edit'.
  5. Provide the required security contact information including:
  6. - Name of the security contact person
  7. - Email address for security notifications
  8. - Phone number for security contact
  9. Choose 'Save changes'.
