Athena workgroups should be tagged
Description
Flags Amazon Athena workgroups that have no user-defined tags. Tags help associate workgroups with their owning team, environment, and cost centre; untagged workgroups are operationally opaque.
Remediation
Apply at least one user-defined tag to every Athena workgroup.
Steps
- Open the Athena console and choose Workgroups.
- Select the affected workgroup.
- Choose Tags and add at least one tag with a non-aws: prefixed key (e.g. Owner, Environment).
- Save the changes.
