Amplify branches should be tagged

Description

Flags AWS Amplify branches that have no user-defined tags. Tags help with environment classification, cost allocation, and incident triage; untagged branches are operationally opaque.

Remediation

Apply at least one user-defined tag to every AWS Amplify branch.

Steps

  1. Open the AWS Amplify console and select the app, then the branch.
  2. Choose Branch settings, then Tags.
  3. Add at least one tag with a non-aws: prefixed key (e.g. Owner, Environment, Stage).
  4. Save the changes.
